An Evening with Roger McGuinn takes you on a journey through the musical history of the 1960s. McGuinn's storied career followed an eclectic path, from performing with the Chad Mitchell Trio and Bobby Darin to working behind the scenes for other iconic artists such as Judy Collins and Paul Simon. But McGuinn's greatest fame came as the frontman and driving force behind the legendary folk-rock group the Byrds. Experience the rich musical tradition of Japan with a performance of Japanese Taiko Drums. Rhythms of the ancestral drums are paired with the lilting sounds of bamboo flutes to create music unlike anything you've heard before. One of Broadway's brightest stars makes a rare solo appearance when Renée Elise Goldsberry takes the stage at the Staller Center for the Arts. Goldsberry won a Tony Award for her role in Hamilton, but her resume includes Rent, The Lion King, and a number of other incredible musicals. Currently, Goldsberry stars in the hit TV show Girls5Eva as a member of a one-hit-wonder "girl group" reuniting for a comeback.
