Experience the rich musical tradition of Japan with a performance of Japanese Taiko Drums. Rhythms of the ancestral drums are paired with the lilting sounds of bamboo flutes to create music unlike anything you've heard before. Performance is an important element of Japanese music, making the show a visual spectacle as well. The show takes place on Friday, 9/13, and admission is free.

More than half a century after their break-up, the influence and popularity of the Beatles continues. Don't miss Classic Albums Live as they perform the Beatles' landmark album Abbey Road note-for-note. Founder Craig Martin refers to CAL as "curators," with a group of elite musicians honoring historic albums through faithful renditions of every cut. One of Broadway's brightest stars makes a rare solo appearance when Renée Elise Goldsberry takes the stage at the Staller Center for the Arts. Goldsberry won a Tony Award for her role in Hamilton, but her resume includes Rent, The Lion King, and a number of other incredible musicals. Currently, Goldsberry stars in the hit TV show Girls5Eva as a member of a one-hit-wonder "girl group" reuniting for a comeback. The show starts at 8 p.m. on Saturday, 9/21, and tickets are $68-$106.

Summer may be over, but it's not too late for a wonderful outdoor festival. Sample signature products from top local restaurants, vineyards, and breweries at the Long Island Food & Wine Classic. Thanks to a massive 80' by 160' tent, festivities take place rain or shine. Burn off some calories by dancing to the sounds of In the Groove as they perform hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Festival hours are 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. on Saturday, 9/28, and tickets are $99-$149.

Hear a fresh take on memorable tunes during an evening with John Pizzarelli: Stage & Screen. The Grammy-winning artist has received acclaim for bringing jazz back to the forefront of music.
